Dr. Preston McEachern, AENV

The presentation made by Dr. McEachern on January 27, 2010 has been withdrawn by Dr. McEachern pursuant to a settlement with Dr. Timoney and Mr. Lee. The January presentation contained statements by Dr. McEachern regarding the use of data by Dr. Timoney and Mr. Lee in their 2009 study published in The Open Conservation Biology Journal, specifically, statements that they had chosen to and actually had removed data in their study for 1985, 2003, and 2004 and that the figures in their 2009 study were a lie. Dr. Timoney and Mr. Lee informed Dr. McEachern that they did not have the data for the years that Dr. McEachern stated had been removed in doing their study. Dr. McEachern has acknowldged his statements were false; he has unequivocally retracted the statements; and he has expressed his regret to Dr. Timoney and Mr. Lee. This revised presentation has been provided by Dr. McEachern.
