David Bouchier, President, The Bouchier Group

This is one of my tractor-trailers. That’s how we move our heavy equipment up to the job sites.

We work with the oil sands. This is part of what we do up here. In the summer we run up to about 70 employees.

Being aboriginal in this region and developing a business is so important. We’re seen as role models. It took us a while to get to where we’re at today. It didn’t just come overnight. 

I still live the life I use to live growing up as a child. This is my favourite spot in the world. I come here enjoy life and do a lot of fishing. This is my home.
