Abstract 

The files in this CD provide ergonomic risk identification and assessment tools for use in the oil and gas industry. This information provides templates and ergonomic guidelines for identifying and prioritizing tasks that place workers at risk of musculoskeletal injury. The development of this ergonomic tool assists in addressing ergonomic requirements with the BC Workers' Compensation Board. This tool has broad application in other provinces where industry operates. Includes two pamphlets regarding understanding and preventing musculoskeletal injuries (MSI), checklists and troubleshooting tips for Office, Bulk Agencies and Retail/Marketing personnel, flow diagrams, questionnaires and forms, checklists, risk rating charts and trouble shooting tips. Another file contains a powerpoint presentation overview of the MSI process that members can customize to suit their company needs. This is not a WCB document.
