Abstract 

Numerous reports focusing on offshore oil and gas development in the Beaufort were produced in the 1980s and 1990s, during the initial wave of offshore exploration. Many of these reports were difficult to locate and not available in electronic format. Further, there were concerns that many of the lessons learned from those studies were being lost. This report 1) Describes how to access these reports through the ASTIC database; 2) Provides a brief overview of historcial Baufort activityu and regional studies conducted; 3) Summarizes key regional studies and reviews key findings from them.
