Tectonic Shifts in Geoscience Education

A presentation by Leslie Reid, Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning at the University of Calgary, hosted by the Petroleum Historical Society. Reid's presentation will focus on her self-described “serendipitous journey” from a disengaged undergraduate student in biology to Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning in the Faculty of Science. She will touch on key moments and experiences that influenced her career path and highlight how geoscience education has both changed and stayed the same.
