Projects should demonstrate progress and that a long-term approach to continuous performance improvement is being implemented.
To be eligible for an award, a member company must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a CAPP member company;
- Project achievements must have taken place within the last calendar year;
- Project must be in upstream operations;
- Project must be implemented in Canada; and
- Submissions must include all materials outlined in “What to include” in the Nomination Package
Judging Process
Each year CAPP invites judges that are external to CAPP to select the award recipients. They are elected because of specific expertise and/or they represent a key stakeholder perspective.
The judging process starts with a review to ensure that the required information has been included and the appropriate award category has been selected. The judging panel then meets to discuss the award nominations and selects and recommends the award recipients for each category. CAPP will announce and present the Awards at the RCE Awards Dinner in March 2011.
