CAPP Statement on Potential Rail Disruption

“Railways are strategically vital to Canada’s economy, moving over $380 billion in goods annually. Canadians rely on the products shipped by rail each day, including energy products that run their vehicles and help power their homes and businesses. A disruption in rail service and the business supply chain is a disruption to the Canadian economy, which the country can ill afford at a time when Canadians are already struggling with higher costs. We urge the government, rail companies, and unions to swiftly resolve the dispute.”
