CAPP Issues Response to Throne Speech

The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) has issued the following statement in response to today’s Throne Speech:

The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) shares the vision of a Canada that is both prosperous and an environmental leader on the world stage. We are proud that responsibly produced oil and natural gas from Canada can be a key part of this vision – providing economic and social benefits across the country, helping to advance Indigenous reconciliation through the economic opportunities offered by resource development, and driving major reductions in net global emissions through export of our resources and technology to the world.

CAPP is committed to working with the federal government to make this vision a reality. A strong oil and natural gas industry can contribute to the government’s mandate and benefit all Canadians.
