Today, Canada’s natural gas and oil industry joins with all Canadians to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day. We want to reflect on the rich cultures, traditions and history of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, as well as the significant contributions made to the success of our upstream sector. Our industry is tremendously grateful for the relationships and partnerships built with Indigenous communities and businesses over many years. We look forward to furthering this collaboration – building a strong, shared future for sustainable resource development in Canada and advancing the goals of reconciliation.
