Membership

The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) provides a unified voice for the upstream petroleum industry.

We represent companies, large and small, that explore for, develop and produce natural gas and crude oil throughout Canada. Our members:

  • Produce about 85% of Canada's natural gas and crude oil
  • Provide a wide range of services that support the upstream crude oil and natural gas industry
  • Are an important part of a $120-billion-a-year national industry that provides essential energy products

Joining CAPP

Two types of membership are available:

Producer Membership: Available to companies who explore for, develop and/or produce crude oil or natural gas in Canada

Associate Membership: Available to companies and other organizations (with the exception of other associations) that provide services in support of the upstream crude oil and natural gas industry, as well as producer companies whose upstream operations are outside of Canada.
