The project employed over 3,000 Indigenous workers, nearly $5 billion was spent with Indigenous suppliers and contractors, and has delivered more than $580 million in benefits-sharing arrangements with 69 Indigenous communities.
As the world undergoes rapid and sometimes violent geopolitical realignments, safe and reliable oil and gas supplies will be a priority for governments for years to come.
